I mean, it is quite surprising. However, it would be insensitive to ask for the reason for their son’s death. It’s a moment of grief, and they might not feel the need to do the same.
There are other people too who are thinking like us. Though not providing reasons is suspicious, it would be more decent if we respect their feelings and just wait for their announcement.
I personally don’t think that any political rivalry would have been the reason behind his death. It could be an accident, a normal death, or any disease.
Whatever the reason might be, the pain will be the same. It is not only the loss to his parents but also to those who saw a potential political activist in him.

Tragic deaths always make me feel that there is something suspicious there. Richard Hillman, for example, also died because of drug abuse, but nobody knew how much he was tortured, which made him take drugs.

I’m not saying that the scenario is similar to Jeff and Mekbul. But unless and until his parents are providing proper explanations, the questions will be there.
