Teresa Fidelgo, you must have heard of this name. Yes, I am talking about that road accident ghost in Portugal. Wait! Did you share the post too?
Oh my god! I’m sorry if it scared you that much. Well, there is nothing to feel ashamed of. You have done nothing wrong or anything dumb. A lot of people shared those posts.
But yes, you cannot deny the fact that the incident didn’t look fake at all. Nobody knew until the director himself confirmed that it was all scripted.
Wait, what? Teresa Fidalgo’s ghost was fake? Yes, it was. I know it is hard to believe, and you might be thinking that I am the one who is telling lies about the real incident.
But the truth is, it was not at all real. You know, these kinds of cases happen a lot. Some footage of a movie gets viral, and people think that it happened for real.
You know how fast fake things get circulated on social media. The good actors are not at all popular, but a random girl who dresses less is hell popular!
This is the irony of social media. So, something similar happened to David, the director. Let’s see what he was trying to do and what actually happened.
Shooting for a Short Film
David, the director of the short film “A Curva,” was the cameraman too. He and his group went on an empty road to shoot for that movie.
Teresa Fidalgo was nothing but a fictional character. She was the girl that we saw getting into the car and sitting without speaking anything. She turns to the camera for a few seconds, and then, it appears like she has attacked everyone, and they are dead.
Only the cameraman David is alive and is not in a stable situation to narrate the story. You can still find the short story.
David wanted to make a short film that appeared real. Well, it happened. People failed to recognize that it was a movie.
The story of that movie is exactly the same as what people thought to be real. A girl named Teresa Fidalgo died in a road accident in Portugal in 1983 and has been haunting people who cross the road since then.
A lot of people went to investigate there but returned empty-handed. Some made up a new fake story to keep the fire alive.
Social Media Chaos
After the video went viral, people started seeing posts saying that they needed to repost the same post; otherwise, the ghost of Teresa would sleep with them forever.
Some posts also included that a girl ignored the post, and her mother was found dead 20 days later. Yes, it sounds absolutely ridiculous. But people were so scared at that time that they thought of reposting it.
I laughed so hard after listening to this fact, but then I started thinking of how manipulated and scared people were. We all ignore such messages, but at that time, people who never believed in such things started reposting them.
Moreover, the video was horrifying; there was no way but to believe that it was real. Kudos to director David, who directed the movie so well that people couldn’t even tell the difference between real footage and scripted one.
But things started to become bad, and David decided that he would be talking about this. He was invited to a show, and there he told the crowd that it was actually a scene from his short film and there was nothing real with the ghost of Teresa Fodalgo. It was all fake!
The interviewer went on and reconfirmed whether he was telling the truth or not. David then moved on and provided all the details of the short film.
Okay, so everything should have been fine by then? But it didn’t happen. Everyone watched the interview and listened to his statement. But people still believed that David was making up a story to hide the real incident.
And they kept sharing the posts and everything until everything finally fell into place, and the fear was also gone.
You know, it reminds me of the “Blue Whale Game.” It was real! People were dying, and I was also scared, scrolling through social media, thinking that I would also be added to those groups.
However, those dark days are gone now! So, what’s next? You don’t know what happened to the people after reading the story. You wouldn’t like to miss this!
Paranormal Activities Took Place
A lot of people like me wrote articles claiming that the story is real or fake. They just wrote what they knew at that time. But some of the readers later commented below the post about the paranormal events that happened to them after reading the story.
One guy had written that he heard some noise and also felt the presence of somebody else in the house. He went outside with his dogs, and suddenly, the dogs started barking at something.
After that, he saw a man or woman wearing a white piece of clothing and staring at him from a distance. He got really scared and went back into his house with the dogs.
Many people replied that he must be hallucinating because of the fear to which he agreed. But his comment was not the only one. There were other people talking about some incidents that happened to them as well!
Ending Words
So, what do you think? Can the story be real, or should we just believe the words of David? If you ask me, I think that David was telling the truth, and we should not let our fears play with us.
It is better not to believe everything that we see on social media. Everybody is curious to know about the truth behind the accidents or the deaths like Mike Howe.
It has been solved. But it seems that people sometimes want to see or hear what they believe. Not the facts! So, what do you choose?
