On September 19, the government of China finally issued draft regulations. The aim of these regulations is to simplify tourism in China and its borders. In addition to this, the government also wanted to make entry into China for tourists convenient.
As per the draft policy that was released by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of China, all the tours that are arranged with the help of different travel agencies in the border areas now have the ability to enter and exit without facing any hassle. However, the government has not announced the date when all of these guidelines will be executed.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, the borders of China were shut to everyone. Nevertheless, only some specific groups of foreign nationals were allowed to enter the country. This means anyone who already has a valid visa could enter China without facing any inconvenience.
In the past weeks, the government of China remarkably tightened all the imperative COVID-19 restrictions. This was done in order to avoid the spread of the Omricon variant. In the month of September only, there was a partial lockdown in China.
Talking about the new draft policy, all foreign tourists now have the right to enter China. However, they can only do so after being a member of the tour groups. The policy did not clear anything if anyone entering China had to follow the quarantine protocols or not. According to the quarantine rules of China, a tourist has to stay inside the hotel for a week.
As of the year 2022, China is sharing its border with fourteen countries in total. Some of them are Russia, Mongolia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Laos. If you are anyone who wishes to travel to China, now is the time when you can do so. Nevertheless, make sure that you are a part of the tourist group. Only then you will be able to enter China and its border places.
Also, make sure that you carry all the important documents and other things. Next, do not forget to follow the precautions. COVID-19 is still pretty much existing all over the world which is why it is the responsibility of the tourists to look after themselves.
Apart from China, the Netherlands, and Panama has also revised the COVID-19 guidelines recently. Tourism has started all over again but the safety of the tourists and residents is not taken for granted whatsoever. Things will return back to normal but everything is going to take time.
