Learning to love our bodies is a tough, but extremely rewarding journey. We all have moments in our lives during which we struggle to look at ourselves in the mirror, but unfortunately for some people, the struggle is endless. No matter how much exercise and clean eating we do, certain traits will never disappear and will always make us feel uncomfortable in our own skin.
Thankfully, nowadays plastic surgery can help us improve our body, helping us feel confident again. This is exactly why Dr. Ryan Neinstein has decided to open his surgery, empowering men and women from all over the world.
Finding Excitement In Your Daily Job
After completing his specialization degree, Dr. Neinstein immediately started to work in traditional clinic settings, but he felt something was missing. “Going to work every day, I realized, was not exciting. I know that sounds wild, crazy, and maybe even weird. Why do surgical and medical offices not excite the team that functions within? Well, these are the thoughts and driving forces that led me to open my practice,” said Dr. Neinstein.
While Dr. Neinstein enjoyed his job and the opportunity to help thousands of women get comfortable in their bodies, he felt the need for a change. He dreamt of creating a clinic where the team would have a positive and radiating energy which could influence the patients and help them feel excited about their surgery procedure rather than worried. Dr. Neinstein wanted to work with colleagues who did not see their profession as a mere way of making money but as a method to give people back the confidence they deserved.
Creating The Perfect Team
After working for several years, Dr. Neinstein decided it was time to open his own clinic and turn his dream into reality. He, therefore, started to study how world-renowned leaders such as Walt Disney and Herb Kelleher, co-founder of Western Airlines, managed to create the perfect working environment in their companies.
“I spent a lot of time looking at how Walt Disney intentionally recreated the family experience through consistent intentional team building of the cast members. I was inspired by the heart of service culture created by Herb Kelleher at Southwest Airlines,” said Dr. Neinstein.
Putting People At The Center Of Your Practice
This is why in 2012, Dr. Neinstein opened Neinstein Plastic Surgery, a clinic in Manhattan whose goal is to make every patient feel and look like the best version of himself. “From its inception, I have always wanted a practice where the culture, the attitude, and the core values created an energy within the team. I knew that if we could ignite and excite the team and create a culture of employee happiness, it would permeate into the patient experience,” said Dr. Neinstein.
In his clinic, Dr. Neinstein and his team perform liposuctions, breast augmentation and reductions, as well as mommy makeover programs, one of their most popular treatments. Giving birth can be a traumatic experience for the human body, stretching muscles far apart and resulting in loose skin and deflated breasts. In such a delicate and overwhelming period of a woman’s life, Dr. Neinstein believes it’s fundamental for women to feel at their very best, and that’s when plastic surgery can come in handy.
On top of this, Dr. Neinstein also supports local communities by taking part in several initiatives funding non-profit organizations such as The Release Recovery, which help people struggling with mental illnesses and substance abuse by providing access to professional treatments.
Thanks to his clinic, Dr. Neinstein and his team have now helped thousands of people to be able to look at themself in the mirror and feel grateful for their bodies, turning an overwhelming and often scary procedure into an enjoyable experience. “If you focus on people, your mission will remain eternal. Our team members have a fun-loving attitude but a servant’s heart. Our special sauce is the love for each other, the patient, and the process,” said Dr Neinstein.
