Following a week-long search for four missing bikers, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, police on Friday discovered “several items in the water that seem to be human remains” in the Deep Fork River.
Okmulgee residents Mark Chastain, 32, Billy Chastain, 30, Mike Sparks, 32, and Alex Stevens, 29, went missing Monday night. The disappearances were reported by Alex Stevens’ mother and Mark Chastain’s wife, Jessica.
In a news briefing, the city’s police head said that corpses had been uncovered, but he added that no bicycles had been located. He said that the corpses had not yet been pulled from the sea.
