Contestant, Zanab Jaffrey of “Love is Blind” has some stern words to say about co-contestant and fiance, Cole Barnett.
The contestants, Zanab and Cole were engaged on the show and have been living for four weeks in the show together, but what has happened that Zanab has to reject her fiance, Cole at the wedding altar?
According to USA Today, the reason for Jaffrey’s shocking decision is Cole’s disrespect and ignorance toward her.
In the third season of the show, “Love is Blind”, we all can see throughout how Cole has put Zanab under pressure with his actions. They have hardly dated for four weeks when Cole decided to get engaged to Zanab on the show. But this did not last long.
Zanab admitted that she loves Cole but marriage is something where two people should be happy and not get insecure about each other.
She even says that Cole has treated her roughly on the show. He even called her “bipolar” for her mood swings.
On occasions, Cole could be seen flirting with Collen Reed, a crew member on the show, and comparing her to Zanab.
However, things were shocking when Zanab and Cole were about to get married but Zanab decides to back off. This has put all the fans of the Netflix show surprised.
At the wedding altar, Zanab ditches Cole saying that he has enough disrespected, humiliated and criticized her for the whole season and this has shattered her self-confidence. She also says that she doesn’t want to marry Cole as love cannot be this bad.
Zanab stated in an interview that she had tried numerous times to make the relationship perfect again and talk to Cole about this. But she was called passive-aggressive by Cole on many occasions.
Jaffrey even goes on to say that she was not sure about her answer even n the day of the wedding but at the moment of the wedding, she decided to speak up to Cole about the breaking of the marriage due to his ill behavior.
Cole has added in an interview that, he did not even get the chance to say “yes” to the wedding as Zanab had already expressed a “no”. Cole says that he wanted to marry Zanab but if her feelings are different then it’s better not to.
Both Cole and Zanab were not on talking terms after the show. However, things lightened when they both started talking as friends and they even claim to care about each other now but not romantically.
“Love Is Blind” Season 3 witnesses only two couples wedding each other this season as rest three did not get married to each other.
Matt and Collen, and Brennon and Alexa are the only couples to get hitched this season.
Cole also says that he maybe was too honest on the show and that is the reason for him not finally getting hitched in the show.
