Anna Heche passed away after being in a coma due to a fatal car accident. She suffered a critical brain injury which ultimately couldn’t be recovered, and she succumbed to death. All her loved ones and co-workers posted their feelings on their social media handles, but her ex-boyfriend James Tupper and her co-worker, Emily Bergl, did an exceptional job.
They not only wrote about their feelings but also defended her on the controversy that she was mentally unstable or what most people said was “mad.”
Emily wrote on her social media about how people used to ask her how it was to work with that crazy Anne Heche. As a reply, she wrote that throughout her career, she has never found anyone like Anne.
Moreover, Emily talked about the days when they used to work together. She said that Anne used to work 12 hours a day. After finishing work, she used to catch up with her friends for a couple of drinks, and then she used to get back to work at 4 a.m.
Moreover, Emily used the term “Crazy,” which people used to call her, to describe some of her exceptional qualities. There was an incident when Emily asked about how she didn’t need any help with remembering to which Anne replied that she used to memorize 70 dialogue pages while working on “Another World.”
Furthermore, Bergl also considered Anne an extraordinary person as she went on and talked about mental health issues in her book “Call Me Crazy” when it was forbidden.
“It’s no wonder Anne titled her brilliant memoir Call Me Crazy, she beat everyone to the punch. She was talking about mental health before it was acceptable to talk about those struggles.” (Source: Emily Bergl Instagram)
She also referred to Anne’s disturbed childhood and how it impacted her mental health, and how she managed to live her life with a smile on her face.
“But despite a sometimes harrowing life, she was so much fun to be around. She was insouciant, joyous, and insightful. We so rarely investigate the abuse, the gaslighting, the misogyny, the homophobia that drives people to finally take up the ‘crazy’ mantle that’s been placed upon them.” (Source: Emily Bergl Instagram)
James Tupper was one of those to comment on her post and appreciate her kind words.
In addition, her son Homer also expressed his feelings about her mom’s death. He stated that it has been tough for him and his brother Atlas, but they are also happy to see their mom in a better place.
