Alison Eastwood, the daughter of famous American actor Clint Eastwood, spoke about her beautiful childhood away from Hollywood.
Alison grew up with both of her parents and sibling in Carmel. Surrounded by forest, the city gave Alison the golden opportunity to spend her time in nature and see the wildlife closely.
Alison is a huge animal lover and likes to spend most of her time rescuing animals. When asked about where she developed the love for animals from, she answered that it came from her dad, Clint Eastwood.
Alison grew up watching her dad being close to wildlife and rescuing animals. It allowed her to experience that too, and gradually she built an empathetic relationship with animals.
“ I remember my mom and dad took in a baby deer that had been orphaned. The mother had been hit by a car. We were able to care for it. And we were always surrounded by animals.”
But there were also times when she didn’t feel happy to be a celebrity’s daughter. The main reason behind it is the invasion of fans into their family time.
She recalls an incident when she was enjoying dinner at a restaurant with her family, and a fan came to her dada for an autograph. Moreover, she said that it was not so delightful to always be surrounded by fans all the time. They used to come upto them, and they couldn’t deny them.
“You don’t get a lot of boundaries when you’re out in public. People think, Well, he’s a public celebrity figure, and we want to go up and say hello. I remember as a kid that we wouldn’t get a lot of uninterrupted, quality family time with him in public.”
Moreover, she also explained how she spends most of her time rescuing animals. Alison runs “Eastwood Ranch Foundation” which helps homeless animals find shelter.
At last, It wouldn’t be wrong to say that she is the replica of her dad.
