A study was done in the USA by health officials and they found that COVID-19 is a disease that can be caught by people even if they have taken both doses of vaccine. The study said that about twelve percent of people suffered from Covid whereas others experienced the symptoms of it.
“It happens most of the time when people who have tested negative for COVID end up experiencing the symptoms later, “ said the Cheif of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health at the University of California, Dr. Davey Smith.
The study has also shown evidence saying that more than 12 percent of people are experiencing a viral rebound. This means that they have tested positive soon after testing negative for COVID. This is most common in people who have obtained the Paxloid vaccine.
Smith says, “ any individual who has experienced COVID can still notice the symptoms again. However, these symptoms can be either severe or not bad at all. Everything depends on how much the patient is infected”.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have taken the studies into consideration and have accepted that there is a possibility of symptom recurrence in anyone who has experienced COVID before or is not vaccinated yet. In the month of May, a health alert was released where it informed doctors about the rebound of Paxlovid.
