The viral “pink sauce” from TikTok could soon be available at a store near you. The collaboration came roughly a month after the sauce gained widespread popularity.
As per the recent report by NBC news, Dave’s Gourmet made a partnership announcement with Chef Pii, the TikToker who created the vibrant mystery sauce that had everyone talking last month.
Earlier, the product’s safety was also questioned by a lot of TikTok users, but the collaboration came roughly a month after the sauce gained widespread popularity. When Chef Pii began charging $20 per bottle for the product, many TikTok users questioned its safety. The pink-colored sauce sparked memes and raised questions about food safety among the TikTok community. It appears to range from an opaque blush to a vivid magenta. Some people started pointing out the apparent hue disparities. Others questioned Chef Pii’s quality assurance and pointed out that the dietary data on each bottle varies.
In a statement made last month, Chef Pii referred to her product as “the Beyoncé of those sauces” and expressed confidence that she would “bounce back” from the criticism.
As per the report, she stated, “I cannot stop someone from doing a certain action.” “Since I did produce something absolutely beautiful, I can only pick how I react to it. That’s something I’ll stand by. I adore my purchase. Everyone adores my product. I erred a little bit. We’re recovering from it and will continue to develop from there.”

According to a news release from Dave’s Gourmet, which will be in charge of producing the sauce on a commercial scale following the guidelines of food manufacturing, he stated, “a few ingredients were changed in order to make the sauce less complicated, dairy-free, and clean of any preservatives, artificial colors, or flavors.”
David Neuman, President of Dave’s Gourmet, stated in a statement, “the public will ultimately receive a shelf-stable version of the amazing sauce that Chef Pii had in mind in her Miami kitchen.” he further added, “to reach out to a talented foodie who has no experience with commercial sauce production, and, with our expertise and resources, assist bring her Pink SauceTM to the market.”
He stated that the sauce might be found on “e-commerce platforms, in restaurants, and on the shelves of big food merchants both domestically and internationally once production begins in the fall.” According to the press statement, “Chef Pii will continue leading the social media components of the business and will participate in all the key stages of commercial production.”
