Comedian Chris Rock reacted to the recent video uploaded by Will Smith in his stage performance. The comedian performed in a gig at Atlanta’s Fox Theater on Friday night.
As per the report by Page Six, he quipped about the incident saying, “Everyone is trying to be a victim,” further adding, “If everybody claims to be a victim, then the real victims will not be heard by anyone.” Also mentioned, “Even though I got smacked by Suge Smith, I went to work the next day. I got kids.”
In his Ego World Death tour, Rock continued to joke, “Anyone who says that words hurt has never been punched in the face.” As per the report, the comedian is on his Ego Death World Tour and quips about this topic in his performances in New York and New Jersey.
A day before, Will Smith posted an apology video to Chris Rock for the mishap on Oscar night. But Chris Rock did not mention anything directly related to the apology video shared by the King Richard actor.
The five-minute-long video shared by Will Smith includes an apology to Chris Rock, his mother, and his brother. He mentioned in his video that he contacted Chris after the incident but is not yet ready to talk.
Smith, in this video, also apologized to the Celebrity community and accepted that his reaction to the situation was not the right way to react.
