The protest in Iran still continues after the death of Mahsa Ahimi. The public of Iran and nearby locations are not at all happy with the death of the victim. The protestors were seen chanting anti-government quotes while they were also twirling their headscarves. The main reason for this protest is to give justice to Mahsa Ahimi who recently died. The police arrested her saying that she had not covered her head with the Hijab.
The police officials said that Mahsa died due to a heart attack. However, according to the statement given by her father, she never had a history of heart illness.
Apart from removing the headscarves, some of the protestors had closed their shops. Not only they wanted to be a part of the protest but also had to save their shops from any type of damage. The protest began on September 17th and is still ongoing.

On Saturday, a man was shot dead in the Kurdish community. He was driving a car when the incident took place. According to the Organization for Human Rights, the man died after he was seen honking at the security officials who were present on the street during the protest. Well, honking is a way to protest. However, the officials did not like this method of protest and ended up killing him.
The videos that have gone viral on an umpteen number of social media platforms show how the man slumped over the steering wheel after he was yelling for urgent help. However, police officials are not accepting their mistakes. They have made statements saying that no weapons were used against the protestors whatsoever.
Certain claims have said that the man was shot dead by the police officials from their car itself. The pictures that went viral have shown that the victim was shot from the left side. In addition to this, the pictures also show how blood was running down from the victim’s left side.
Apart from this man, another protestor was killed after the police officials were dispersing the protestors. Protesters burned tires in some areas during a general strike on the city’s main streets.
A number of other pictures also went viral in the northeastern city of Mashhad. Not only this, but more protests were taking place at Azad University in northern Tehran. Henceforth, a number of shops shut down in Tehran and the nearby locations to avoid any type of mishappening.
