Since there has been an increase in COVID-19 cases in China, a rare protest has taken place lately. This protest is occurring to attack President Xi Jinping. Various pictures are going viral in China.
The police officials are trying their level best to stop the protest without harming anyone. However, people are pretty much frustrated and have been attacking the President like never before.
Because the cases are rising in China, the government announced lockdown and safety restrictions. Nonetheless, people are not happy with the decision that a protest started.
Access to the city is tightened. In addition to this, traveling is strictly prohibited due to which people are not able to enter or exit China. However, anybody who has recently entered China is asked to quarantine without any further ado.
The videos and pictures of the protest that are going viral on social media have displayed two banners unfurled in the Haidan district of Beijing. People have been currently protesting against the President explaining how they want the lockdown and other restrictions to end as soon as possible.
According to a report, one of the banners says “No Covid test, we want to eat. No restrictions, we want freedom. No lies, we want dignity. No Cultural Revolution, we want reform. No leaders, we want votes. By not being slaves, we can be citizens.”
The other called on residents to “go on strike at school and work, remove the dictator and national traitor Xi Jinping”.
The government of China has announced certain things only for the betterment of its people and the rest of the world. However, the people of China and nearby districts are not very happy with their decision.
Because entry and exit to and from China are shut, and shops and buildings are closed, people are going mad. They want the government to uplift all the restrictions which is why the protest started in a blink of an eye.
But the government of China and other districts are trying to handle the situation without making a fuss about it. It is their main goal to make the public understand why lockdowns and other restrictions matter. Therefore, police officials are trying to control people but in a polite manner.
China’s government has also asked people to support them and to show some confidence in them. Whatever decision is taken by them related to COVID-19 restrictions is for their betterment only. It is high time that people should understand.
