Johnny Depp, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor, sued her ex-wife Amber Heard for 50 million dollars after she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence in The Washington Post.
Moreover, his wife countersued him for 100 million dollars.
This led to the dramatic six-weeks trial in which both the parties presented their side of the case. Furthermore, people believed in Johnny Depp comparatively more than Amber Heard.
It can be due to a wide fan following, but after all the witnesses and recordings as proof, Johnny Depp was much closer to winning the case.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk refused to testify in the defamation trial. Johnny Depp said that Amber and Tesla owner, Elon Musk were dating while being in a marital relationship with him.
As a revert Elon replied that he and Amber had been dating since 2016 after she accused Johnny of domestic violence.
His refusal
Moving forward with the case, the jury asked Elon Musk to present all the conversations he had with Amber regarding Johnny.
Furthermore, Musk’s attorney, Alex Spiro informed Fox News Digital that his client would not do that.
His tweet
Elon Musk tweeted in response to the podcaster Led Fridman’s tweet about the Johnny-Amber trial. He tweeted – “I hope they both move on. At their best, they are both incredible.”
It seemed that Elon Musk didn’t want to be involved in this case and sent his good wishes to both of them for their near future.
But it doesn’t end here; it led to further replies to Elon’s tweet with the conclusion drawn from the trial. He wrote-
“My takeaways from Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial: 1. Fame is one hell of a drug (for some). 2. Psychiatrists & lawyers come in drastically varying levels of skill. 3. Lying to millions of people is something humans are capable of. 4. Love can be messy. 5. Mega pint of wine.”
